When considering purchasing one or more of my artistic products, pricing is based on several factors:

  • Fabric for quilts can cost anywhere from $10 to $ 16 yard. I even have some fabric in my stash that sells for up to $60 per yard. It takes from 5 to 15 yards of fabric to create a quilt.

  • The batting for a quilt (the inner part of the quilt that make a quilt warm and comfortable) can range in price from $15 to $35 depending on the size of the quilt

  • I consider myself to be a quilt artist and I have been quilting for over 60 years. Therefore, my level of experience is also a consideration.

  • There are many steps involved in creating a quilted item, including design, pressing and cutting the fabric, sewing the design together, adding sashing, cornerstones and sashing, binding the quilt and more. I will also consult with you throughout the creation of your quilted item.

  • The cost of having the quilt professionally long armed (sewing the three layers (top, back and batting) together

  • Designing and adding the label to the quilt

  • Scraps quilts are created from high quality fabrics. It is one of my favorite quilt making techniques. Leftover fabrics from various quilts are combined to make 12 -inch quilt blocks and then sewn into a beautiful creation.
